Content description: Ian Holm, donning the iconic role of Bilbo Baggins, is absolutely losing his mind in this intense clip as he fixates on a single, glowing golden ring. His eyes go wide with pure obsession, and his bearded grin turns into a manic, almost feral smile as he clutches the ring, muttering MY PRECIOUS with the kind of delirious, high-energy glee that only a total addict can muster. It's the most unhinged, hilarious, and utterly convincing display of addiction you'll ever see in one GIF.
